Safety Corner
The Hernando Beach Fire Department was established in 1975 with a contingent of Volunteer Firefighters. The department provides BLS Emergency Patient Support, Fire Suppression, Vehicle Extrication, Fire Prevention & Public Education, Training, Emergency Management and many other services, all delivered from one Fire Station strategically located on Shoal Line Blvd. The Department retains an ISO Class 5 Rating affording fire insurance premium discounts for home and business owners.
